Visual communication design is a creative process that combines the visual arts and technology to communicate ideas. By controlling color, type, movement, symbols and images, we create and manage the process to inform, educate, persuade and even entertain.
UNION COUNTY (s.c.) CAREER & TECHNOLOGY CENTER
The Union County (S.C.) Career & Technology Center wanted a contemporary update of its logo. After some research of the school’s history, we found that the school was the result of a merger of three schools — Lockhart High School (red), Jonesville High School (blue) and Union High School (yellow) — and incorporated their colors into the final design.
NORTHWEST SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
The Northwest School of the Arts (NWSA) is a visual arts magnet school in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools system, the 18th largest school district in the United States. NWSA has grades 6-12 and enrolls 1,100 students. Because magnet schools face the challenge of competing with schools for enrolling students, A Touch of Omari helped with some of the marketing collaterals.
